the front runner  I read this book in less than a week: surely a record for me.  I was so disappointed when I tried to google Billy Sive and found out that he wasnt a runner at all and that it was all pure fiction: so many apparent factual points, which most authors try to avoid.  The book was completed in 1974 and the Montreal Olympics weren't held until 1976.
